This is the privacy notice for discountvibe.com, operated by DiscountVibe ("we", "us"). It covers the information we deal with and the options open to you. Briefly: the prices and percentages you enter are computed locally and never leave your machine.
The tool this policy covers
DiscountVibe does one thing — as a discount calculator it works out a sale price and the money saved, handling a single discount, a stacked double discount, a reverse lookup from the final price, and buy-one-get-one deals. It applies each percentage to the running price in turn rather than adding the percentages together, which is why a further 20% off an already reduced item is not the same as 40% off the original. What follows concerns only that tool and the inputs involved in it.
Practically, all the calculation needs is the prices and percentages you enter. Typical reasons people open DiscountVibe include working back to the original price from a sale tag, and in every case the work happens on the visitor's own device rather than ours.
Your inputs
The tool runs entirely client-side. What you type is used locally and only locally: there is no server round-trip, no log line, and no record kept anywhere but on your own screen for as long as the page is open.
Information collected as you browse
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may process the basic technical information needed to deliver a page: IP address, browser and device type, referring page and pages viewed. This is used for security, troubleshooting and understanding which tools are used, and is never joined to anything you type into the tool.
Advertising, cookies and your choices
Two things can set cookies on discountvibe.com: our own consent flag, which remembers your answer to the banner, and the third-party advertising network, which may use them for interest-based ads. Refuse them all and the tool still behaves exactly as before.
What our statistics cover
Usage statistics, when collected, are anonymous and aggregated. They tell us which pages are useful; they do not identify you and they never include your input to the calculator.
Your input and what happens to it
Whatever you type is used to draw the answer and then forgotten, because it was never stored in the first place. Refreshing the page clears anything still on screen.
Retention and security
No personal calculation data is held by us at any point, which makes retention a non-issue for the tool. The site itself is delivered over encrypted connections and kept up to date.
Children's privacy
Nothing here targets users under 13. If a child has sent personal details through the site, tell us and we will delete them.
Your privacy rights
You may have statutory rights over personal data — to access, amend, erase or object to its processing, depending on your jurisdiction. You can exercise them by writing to us; in most cases there will be no stored data to act on.

This policy is reviewed when the site changes. Any material revision is shown by the "last updated" date at the top of the page.
